I don’t know about you, but I personally find it difficult to stay focused on one thing. So many issues and needs pull at my heartstrings, and me being the person that I am, I want to address them all. I want to solve all of the world’s problems, not because I am prideful or anything, but because when I see people hurting, it affects me at a deep, personal level.

Even so, I can’t do everything. At most, I can live my life so that my work and vocation addresses a few of these things like social justice, reconciliation and bringing people into right relationship with God. My human capacity limits me from attacking everything else, no matter how much it stirs me to tears and agony. But that is why it is so important that each of us do something, that each of us live in the passion and call of God on our lives so that the needs that I can’t meet, you are able to. And I promise to pray and stand with you so that through help of the Holy Spirit, your life’s purpose is accomplished.
